Managing mail on various devices

I can check my Bigpond mail on my iPhone, iPad, Macbook and Windows laptop, but would like to delete mail on one device and know that it will delete on others. At the moment, I have to delete on all four devices.

There are generally two kinds of consumer-level email accounts, POP3 and IMAP. IMAP allows for synchronization across multiple devices, POP3 does not.

Check with Bigpond to see if they offer IMAP service. If not, you'll want to switch to another email provider (Gmail is a good example) that does.
