YouTube Videos Not Playing

Hello all,
Yesterday when I clicked on a video to watch, all I got was a black square and no video. I have never EVER had this happen to me. I thought maybe YouTube was having issues but I was able to watch a video on my smart phone.
I can't for the life of me think of any reason for this to happen after all this time. I of course reported a 'bug' to YouTube but I'm sure it was useless. I was unable to find an answer to my question in their help section and could not contact YouTube.
I am using Snow Lion and my system is OS X 10.7.

Any thoughts?

It's not a big deal, but just for clarification:

• Snow Leopard is OS 10.6
• Lion is OS 10.7
• Mountain Lion is OS 10.8

If there is a Snow Lion, I'm going for it because that would be one heck of an OS!
