Upgrading from 10.5.8 to 10.6.6 using Macbook pro DVD install disc

Hi,

I know that the answer is probably in the thread title but is it possible to use a Macbook Pro 10.6.6 install disc on my Imac running 10.5.8??

No, install disks are model specific and will not work except for the model they shipped with. You will need to purchase a retail install disk. (Black with big X or in the case of Snow Leopard, white with picture of the SL on the disk.)
