Hi everyone,

i tried to install gimp today when i got this box telling me i had to install X11.
Then I installed it and opened gimp again.

Now both of the programs are opened, but I cant 'open' gimp, I can't get it to work. When I click on the gimp logo which is opened in my dock, nothing happens.

In my top bar, only the X11 bar is there.

I can close the gimp in my dock again and then it disappears, offcourse.

Has anyone got an idea of what i did wrong?:[

Thanks in advance!!!
Regards from Belgium,
Carolien

New thread created - replying to a 4+ year old thread with broken images is no fun..

What version of OS X are you running?

GIMP just released a Native version for OS X that doesn't require X11. Can you grab the newest 2.8.2 version and see if you fare better?
