I just got a mac mini two days ago (and I must say it's quite nice) and I was wanting to transfer my files from my PC to it. But where do I go to find he PC's server name?

The way I did with an NT based machine was I shared a folder and gave it a name like THIS ONE (so I knew it was obvious). Then on my Mac I went clicked Macintosh HD then click on Network. You should see the name of your Windows machine show up. If you click that, you will be prompted to log in. Log in using the Windows login information. An icon will show up on yer desktop, double click that. After all that, you should be able to drag and drop all the stuff you want to copy.

That is the way I did it.
