What is difference between client update and Client Combo?

Hi,

I'm new to Mac, i'm using iMac 10.7 now. I want to update the OS. I saw the latest update for lion is 10.7.4. Even it is shown in software update window in Mac. I just googled about these updates, I got two results. 1st one is OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client), and 2nd is OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo). I little bit confused about this updates.

Can anyone say me what is the difference between client update and client combo. ?

Can I straight away install 10.7.4 Client Combo update?

Or I need to install 10.7.1, 10.7.2 etc in sequence?

I don't have much bandwidth to let the mac software update to install it straight away. I need to download this somewhere and I can update this manually.

Your suggestions would be helpful.

The combo updates include all updates to that point and will bring you current.

Otherwise you will need to install them each successively if you have not been installing them as they were released.

Could you say the meaning of word the client as mentioned in update name OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client)?

Is it applicable only for client version Lion OS?

What will happen if I would have purchased Server addon for Lion?

??? Did you purchase Lion Server?

If yes, then you would use the Lion Server combo update.
Just as easy to find with google.

Or, just use Software Update (in the  menu). If you do it this way, the machine will be updated properly and you won't have to worry about getting the correct update package.
