Intel Based Mac Hard Drive?

After going through the install for a new Mac mini, there's no hard drive folder on the desktop.

Any help on its whereabouts would be appreciated.

While in the Finder go to the Finder menu and choose "Preferences". Make sure that you click on the General tab and click the checkboxes for those things you want on the Desktop.

That should fix things.
