I have a Macbook Pro purchased in July 2009 with Snow Leopard version 10.5.8. I skipped the Lion upgrade, but I would now like to get Mountain Lion. When I went to upgrade, it said that I needed the latest version of Snow Leopard first (10.6.6 I believe). I went to Software Update, and it said that I had no updates. How do I get the latest Snow Leopard version so i can do the upgrade? Thanks.

10.5.x is Leopard. Snow Leopard is 10.6.x. You will have to buy a retail copy of Snow Leopard, then update it to 10.6.8, before you can get Mountain Lion.
