I have 3 accounts on my Mac, and I want to give 1 of those accounts access to my documents folder with out giving the other one access. I have only found that either everyone gets access to no one gets access.

Is there some advanced group access utility in Mac OS X?

You will need to create a group and make your accoutn and the other account a memeber of that group. Then you would set the group permissions so that both you and the other party can read and write.
