View Source

Hi there

I'm running Lion 10.7.4, and since the last update my "view source" option in the View menu on Safari has disappeared. Has anyone any idea how I can view the source of a web page.

Right click the page > Show Page Source.

That used to work, but when I right click the only options are, Back,Reload Page,Open in dashboard, Save page as, and print page.

Evidently you need the developer menu enabled to view the source (why?) which would explain why I saw it and you didn't. To enable it, go to Safari > Preferences > Advanced > Show Develop menu in menu bar.

Thanks so much for your help, I did as you said and I can now view the source.
