    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

G'day and welcome top the forums.

The Mac Pro 1.1 and 2.1 are different to the 2008 Mac Pro which can run that card as they are dual channel. Also the cost is prohibitive. Look at these from eBay:-

nVidia Quadro FX5600 1.5 GB PCI-E Video Card for APPLE MAC PRO 2008-2010 models | eBay

Personally found a flashed ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB card best when I had a similar Mac Pro to yours.

SO does this mean that that card wont work in my mac? lol sorry I wasnt sure if you were saying that it would work or wouldnt work?
