ipad 2 repair

Irecently replaced the digitizer and home button assembly on an ipad 2. In the process,ripped the wifi antenna and had to replace it also. I puit it back together and it won't turn on. When I plug in the charger, it beeps but nothing registers on the screen. Is there somewhere other than where it connects to the motherboard that could be the problem? As far as I could tell, I got it plugged in all the way and there appears to be no damage. Can somebody please help me?
