Hi,

When I reset Safari -- everything ticked -- isn't everything supposed to be deleted? I noticed that when I went on Google today the previous websites I've been on were highlighted. Why is this?

Thanks

Safari Preferences > Security > Show Cookies

Reset again, then go there. See if you can find cookies that were not deleted. Maybe some have a cache-clearing resistant byte or two?

Hey,

I don't see that option under security. I see something about "Cookies and other website data" in the privacy section. I clicked it, saw a list of websites, and I clicked remove all website data. When I restarted Safari and tried it again, the Google results were still highlighted.

Oh, I got it. After resetting, I have to command quit safari instead of just using the new window that pops up automatically after resetting. I guess all the cookies don't go away until I command quit.

Thanks!
