I rock five external hard drives and one four bay drobo with my iMac. I was thinking about heat today and wondered about putting them into one of those peltier refrigerators. I suppose that wouldn't reduce heat in the room but would reduce heat to the drives. Hey, I've got nothing else to think about so I come up with crazy ideas.
On the serious side. All these usb external drives look messy on my desk. I've been thinking I need some way to stack them into a small shelf of sorts to allow easy access to each but keep them in one spot. Any thoughts on how to make this mess of cables and drives a little tidier?
