I'm currently using MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 snow leopard.

In the Software Updates I have a list of updates that I would love to do and I've updated in the past with no problem but I don't know why its suddenly not working.

Every item on the update list are checked and click install. It still gives me a window telling me my battery should be more than 25% or power cable should be plugged and telling me how after restarting I will get a grey loading bar for firmware update.

After I click Install and Restart, it started downloading all the update items which was around 700mb and after that it starts loading it goes back to my login screen instead of restarting. I log back in check software update and the list is still there where none of my softwares are updated. I tried restarted it by myself manually but still nothing is installed. I tried few times and its the same it just wont install the updates just keeps popping me back to login screen.

Please help : (

Try installing the updates one at a time rather than in batch mode. If that fails, then something else is wrong with your machine.
