adobe photoshop elements and iphoto

I'm new to mac, have been using adobe photoshop elements organizer for photos for years and have thousands of tags on those photos. Is it possible for iphoto to use the same tags? Will iphoto incorporate Adobe elements organizer tag data? How? Thanks
