Seems like after cleaning out all references to OS 9 ( see http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/os-x-operating-system/281782-trying-free-up-disk-space.html ) the iBook will not restart using the Restart option. I get the ding, a brief gray screen and the iBook turns off. To power on again I have to hold the power button for about 6+ seconds, release, press the power button again and the iBook turns on normal.
If I do a straight Shutdown the iBook turns off and I can turn it back on with the normal press of the power button.
Any help/ideas?
