I recently bought a new external hard drive for my music, and it's giving me a few headaches.
Things you should know:
I bought a Toshiba 1 TB Canvio
I run iTunes 10.6.3
I have an iMac running OS X (Version 10.5.8)
The problem I'm having is iTunes wont let me add new music to my library. I can't drag and drop, nor start a new playlist then add music or even use "Add to Library". However, after I shutdown the computer and restart it I can add music for a brief period of time. There's no error messages or anything like that. It just doesn't add or do anything after the computer has been on for a while.
And sometimes while perusing the internet iTunes will skip around songs and albums on me for no reason. And no it's not on shuffle.
Any thoughts?
