How do I get maximum resolution?

Hiya Macheads,

I just bought a new Mac Mini and I thought I had everything I needed to hook it up with my old Apple Cinema Display 30" (2007ish). Turns out I'm only getting 1280 by 800 instead of 2560 x 1600. The old ACD has the SCSI, a USB and a Firewire. The Mini came with a SCSI to HDMI adapter and a USB slot for that to plug into, but the Firewire is not plugged in. I did a little research and it sounds like the new Thunderbolt jack on the Mini is the answer.

What kind of adapter do I need to get maximum resolution? Thunderbolt to Firewire?

Hmmm... not sure if that'll do the trick

Thanks Tattooed, but my Firewire is 400, so I'm not sure if that'll work. Seems like I'd need to get a 400 to 800 first and then daisy that into a Thunderbolt.

Any other ideas peeps?
