Recovering Deleted iPhoto pictures

I spaced out and deleted some photos in iPhoto which were uploaded from my iPhone. (deleted those too).

Is there a way to recover the photos I deleted? I do not back up my computer and I'm not computer savvy. So I need dumbed down instructions on how to do it if I can.

Oh I have Lion but am using iPhoto 09 version 8.1.2
