Ok, feel kind of silly even asking but here goes.....
On my 13" Alu MacBook, on just one user, I can't type #. That's option+3 on the British keyboard layout. It just does nothing. Unmodified the key works as expected.
On the same MacBook in another user it works fine.
Ok, logic says it's a setting or third party app that's causing so... Off to System Preferences - keyboard, reset all shortcuts etc to defaults - no joy
Into user login items, remove everything. Restart. No joy.
Any thoughts?
