Hey guys I just ordered another Mac. This one is a PowerMac G5 2.5GHz Quad with 8GB of RAM and the Quadro FX graphics card. What I wanted to know was when running Leopard (10.5.8) if these computers actually took full advantage of ram past 4gb. Is the processor 64-bit? Is the OS? Thanks!

Dont worry about the 4 gig limit, even macs running a 32 bit OS can access 32 gig of RAM

The only limit is that any one application can only have 4gig maximum
