iso file not opening correctly

hey...this is my first time with a mac ever. i have 3 seperate iso files which i believe are suppose to be burned to a disk to run correctly. But the new macbook doesnt even have a cd/dvd drive. so how am i to use these file? when i click them or mount them they open as folders instead of as a program.

an iso IS a folder. Well, actually it's a disk image. This is working as designed. I guess the real question is, what are you trying to do with this iso?

Its suppose to be a running program not a bunch of folders....maybe I need to convert to dmg?
