Hello!

I have dropped my macbook air a few times and it worked fine...this time I just see a flickering screen...everything works fine with an external laptop...I don't see any cracks on the screen...what can be wrong and is there anything I can do to fix it?..i will probably take it to apple store if nothing works. Does anyone have an idea of how much it will cost if something is knocked loose inside...they told me its $49 just to talk to someone for few minutes.

Thanks.

Take it to the Apple store. You probably knocked something loose inside; perhaps the video cable from the logic board or the power cable to the display.

Dropped it a few times? Wow. In my many years of laptops I've never done that.

Wow.

Agreed with chsag. Most likely a cable for the display got knocked loose. Since it still works with an external display, I'd say nothing is wrong with the video/logic board.

After it's fixed get some of that stickum stuff football receivers use to help hold on to foot balls, it should help in holding the Mac Airbook.;D
