I just posted on the other hdwre forum....my MB just died. It is 18 mos old. The pwr just went off and cant restart. Power adapter looks OK, green lite on. I believe the internal pwr supply died. Where can I find replacement instructions? also how to discharge any stored power internally so I dont blast things. Not even sure what the PS looks like. For what its worth, this machine has not performed like a $1700 machine and I will trash it befor I spend too much to fix it...tks.....John

I believe the internal pwr supply died.

Laptops don't have an internal power supply. A laptops power supply is the external "brick"/power adapter.

Is the computer doing anything? Do you still have Applecare on it?

false alarm

tks all...I guess I had a false indication on my adapter. I had a green light and unit had been plugged in for awhile, but it wasnt charging and finally just totally shutdown. Strange it didnt warn me, but I disconnected and reconnected and then got a low battery indicator...all is Ok now, tks, good to know there is no internal pwr supply....John
