I am trying to help my father in-law, and dont have much experience with macs.
The issue I have is the internet goes off and on. He runs a Xserver, with OSX 10.6.8.
He has the cable modem, time capsule, and a netgear booster. He is using ethernet cable to connect to his Mac. But it seems that if I mess with the time capsule or the netgear it doesn't allow the ethernet to work.
The time capsule is set up to create a wireless network. Should I change it to connect to ethernet and create a second network?
