I bought new RAM for my Late 2009 macbook 2.26 GHz Version 10.7.4. I got 2 4GB sticks (in pic) ram macforum.jpg off amazon to try and upgrade my RAM but when I put them in and turn on my mac it beeps once every 5 seconds. I've tried over 5 times taking it out and putting them back in, tried putting it in harder nothing worked. Then i put back in the 1GB rams that came with my computer and it works now. If you have any idea how to fix it so i can use the 4GB RAMs please let me know.

According to Mactracker, your machine uses:

2 - 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM

The pictures show the memory to be 1066MHz DDR3, however, they may be of the wrong type or could be defective. Can you post a link to Amazon to show what you purchased?

That's the correct memory. One or more of the modules may be defective. Send them back and get a refund. Order from OWC or Crucial instead.
