Well I just got my 17" PB two weeks ago and I love it! One thing that I noticed though is that the keyboard seems to have a slight stench...kind of like the smell of coins. It's obviously the aluminum causing this, but is this normal? Just wondering if the rest of you experience this as well.

Ooh OK...so this is a good thing? Haha...I find the smell to be a little irritating, so I look forward to it going away. Thanks everyone!

I do indeed like the smell. Especially when a hot disc is ejected out of the superdrive. Sad I know....

I prefer the smell of the air coming out of the air vents. Its even better on the old macs like performas. Now THAT is sad :p
