Is this caused by a virus?

When installing new software the, type your system password dialogue is part populated with Arabic text. I will attempt to upload an image, but in the meantime does anyone recognise this. I have been searching with little luck for a while..

I assume Arabic isn't your preferred language on your computer. Where did you download this new software from?

Thanks Ashwin - I had assumed that as most of the text and everything else is in English that it wouldn't be a language pref issue. It turns out that there were 10 or so languages in there that shouldn't have been. The question I suppose is how did they get there and why did they effect some specific words..

Anyway, problem solved, and sorry for not checking that first.
