OSX Spotlight still showing deleted email

I just typed a few characters in spotlight and a very old email showed up. I clicked it and it opened the mail.app and the email is still there in a freestanding box. I am unable to delete it however. This email was sent via icloud. I have tried several things. rebuilding mailbox. deleting and adding the account back into the mail.app. rebuilding spotlight. nothing.

Can anyone please help me get rid of this email? I would really appreciate it!

Not an iCloud genius so just guessing. Can it be deleted from the iCoud site?

i figured it out. when spotlight finds an old email instead of clicking on it and opening the mail app.. i selected show in finder, and then deleted that file. gone for good!
