I have just order a refurbished Macbook Air from the Apple site for my niece.
It is a July 2011 model and will probably come with either Snow Leopard or Lion installed.
Is it advisable to upgrade to Mountain Lion at first use, from the bootable USB I made, before my niece touches it?
I don't to to muck it up for her, but as she has never used a Mac before, it seems like a sensible idea to me.
