I recently upgraded my MacMini 2011, from four GB, to 8. I have done work with computer hardware before, and I'm not clueless. After rebooting, I go to "About this Mac", and till see "4 Gb". I have installed the Ram correctly(I hope), and dnt see why it is not reading. In the system profiler, I see this:

Even after switching out the ram, into other slots. I'm not use if the slots are oriented/linked, to which one is in use, or it just shows*the first one. I'm quite disappointed, because I was looking forward to this upgrade. I tried zapping the memory, that did not fix it either. Any help?

Thanks,

To anyone with same problem:

On the top slot, if it seems as if the ram is not in all the way, you need to push it in in a higher angle.

So does this mean you solved the problem?
