My question, explained as simply as possible: I accidentally snapped off the end of a headphone in my jack, and, after trying to fish it out using superglue (as suggested on youtube), I seem to have rendered the jack useless. I am wondering, however, if there is any way to manually bypass the headphone jack and set my sound to come out of my speakers, as I see no reason why they shouldn't work. Right now, the speaker symbol on the taskbar at the top of the screen is light gray and I can not turn up or down my volume. Is there any way to make sound come out of my speakers, or am I totally out of luck?
