Suddenly, while testing out my new Mountain Lion, I tried to turn on dictation. When I activate dictation, it just sits there with response on the visual meter. My mic is set to the Internal Microphone.

I need help,

Thanks :D

Okay, I have a new development. I am in settings, and my mic is set to mute, but the box is grayed out so I cannot un-mute it. It also wont let me change my volume.

Your Mac's Specs
MBP 13, 2.4, 8GB, 120GB SSD OCZ
You need internet connection for Dictation to work. Press fn twice to turn on Dictation>say what you need to say>press fn again> your speech will be sent to Apple for processing then returned as text.

Sounds slow but the process takes about 2 seconds or less for return.
