After an unfortunate accident, I'm trying to reinstall Lion on my macbook pro. I held down command R and got to the in "OSX Utilities" page where I tried clicking on the "install lion" key with my trackpad but it didn't work. I could however use a combination of the tab key, space bar,enter, and arrow keys to get the section where it asks me to enter my itunes password to continue. This is where I'm stuck. I can't type anything, click anything and it just gets stuck there. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

G'day and welcome to the forums.
Sounds like you may have to format the drive. In OS X Utilities can you access your hard drive> Select Erase and Mac OS Extended (Journalled) and then go to the Installer and see if there is any joy.
