Hi All

I have been running Lion for a year, and while I have had some issues with it, recently it has really started to play up.

If I work with iPhoto and decide to do some colour correcting, parts of the app become see-through and I can see the desktop underneath. If I use FaceTime, then after about 10 mins, I get a flickering line through the video, which then causes a Kernel Panic and I have to shut down. While I am typing this, the top right (where time and WiFi etc are displayed) is flashing away with all sorts of artefacts occurring. Things only get worse when Time Machine kicks in, then all **** breaks loose

I have never had this much trouble before, and reading the boards, I am pretty sure it's Lion that is causing all the issues. I have a late 2006 iMac with a 2.13 C2D with 3gig Ram running the latest version of Lion.

I suppose what I am asking is whether I would be better going back to Snow Leopard (given the age of my iMac) or whether there is a solution for me to be able to stay with Lion.

Any help GRATEFULLY appreciated.

Philip
