All of a sudden, over 70 Time Machine Backups appeared in my Trash. I did not delete them, but have no problem with them being gone. However, I can't seem to empty them from the trash.
I disconnected the TM and the backups were no longer in the trash, so I thought the problem was solved. Only when I reattached the TM the backups appeared again!
I tried holding the Option Key while hitting the empty button, but that didn't work.
I tried using Trash It!, to no avail.
Other then wondering why they all of a sudden appeared in trash, the more immediate concern is all that data in my trash bin.
Also, I'm not able to make any TM backups... the process just gets hung up. But I'm guessing these two issues are somehow related.
Thoughts...?
