Regarding display resolution options available on OS X Lion

I just purchased the the latest model of Air. I've been using Mac for a few years and in each version there has been a "streched" option available for some of the resolutions.

I've checked the display settings several times, it's not listed. Is there any way to get those resolutions?

Hoping someone can help with this.

If you don't see a stretched option, then it's not available. Due to the size of he screen on the MBA, it may have not been practical to offer it. I'm surprised Apple even still offers it as an option on any Mac. All "stretching" does is distort the display, like using Play-Doh on a Sunday comic.
