I have a brand new MBP 13" i7 purchased 2 days ago. I feel like the battery is not lasting anywhere as long as it should. I've been on battery for about 1/2 hour now and I'm at 75% and it's saying about 1:45 remaining (was at 100%, screen is somewhat dimmed, default power save options). I'm doing basic web browsing. I was under the impression that the battery would be lasting close to 7 hours, not 2.
Also, the bottom of the machine seems to be VERY hot- to the point where I can barely keep it on my lap. I just switched from a Dell notebook and I thought that was bad.
