Not those and only those. You could just lower the screen resolution, but that doesn't like like what you wanted to do. If you find the buttons are too small, then I can only suggest getting used to the keyboard shortcuts for them. I very rarely use the buttons themselves. The commands are as follows:

Red button (close window): COMMAND-W
Yellow button (minimize window): COMMAND-M
Green button (zoom): Well actually there isn't a set keyboard shortcut (it's on the menu), but you can create one if desired.
