Hello guys,
I just got OS 8 for a iMac G3 that I'm trying to restore and when I boot into the disk it loads up and a box pops up saying:

"Sorry, a system error occurred.

unimplemented trap
To temporarily turn off extensions, restart and hold down the shift key."

Now, I did this and NOTHING happened all it did was spit out the CD trey and restart to normal ( The OS is not installed on it so it just has a picture of a floppy with a question mark)

What do I need to do?
Thanks,

Your Mac's Specs
late 2012 mini w/SSD
I never had that model, but looked it up on everymac.com...
I think you need either a model-specific OS 8.1 cd or an 8.5 cd to get that model to boot/install.
