Hey all,

We have recently upgraded to snow leopard from a previous version for the IMAC, and whenever we try to boot the machine, get into desktop, we receive a message from mackeeper asking if we'd like to 'Allow' 'Deny' or 'Always Allow' the login keychain to make a change.

Almost instantly after this message appears the OS freeze/locks up and nothing at all can be interacted with?

Could it have possibly corrupted after OSX SL was installed?

Thanks for the reply.

Yep, definitely going to go about uninstalling mackeeper.

As for the system locking-up after login, is there anyway you know of around this?

Basically we have no control over what happens after 5 or so seconds of logging into desktop.

As mrplow intimated think your problem is with that lousy Mackeeper. If all does not go back to normal format the drive and do a clean install.

Boot into Safe Mode

Uninstall MacKeeper.

Then try booting normally
