I am not sure if I am in the right place, as I am new to this forum, so please be kind :0)
I have been trying to copy all my MBP files across to my new iMac very unsuccessfully. I have tried copying them via firewire cable, back up drive, migration assistant and fireiwre target disc mode. It keeps telling me it 'cannot scan disc' or 'was unable to connect to' or just not seeing it at all. When I used migration assistant with the firewire cable, it copied all programs and folders but won't let me access the folders.. The programs are running well, iCloud is working, and I can see both computers on the wifi network..
I'd really appreciate some help..
