Routers

I just got a iBook, 14" G4.
I'm new to Mac, but there's no way they're getting me to go back to MS now.
My only issue is that I don't have a wireless router yet, so I'm stuck sitting at my desk when I am using the net.
I know that Apple has some nice routers, but they are kind of expensive.
Anyone got a suggestion?

apple's airport express beats the crap out of the other routers out there. it's tiny, will let you wirelessly stream anything from itunes to your stereo, and will let you hook up your printer wirelessly. furthermore, if you put two of them in your house (which most would need to do to use both the printer and stereo wireless functions) they'll automatically work together without needing setup.

that said, i'm working just fine on a pos 802.11b microsoft router that i bought for $15.
