Good afternoon to you all,

I have recently purchased a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ V2 and want to place all my iTunes, Photos etc on the NAS box. I would like the idea to be able to use FTP so myself and my wife could remotely log in and upload our photos onto the drive. Share the photos remotely would be cool too. I have the unit set to its default Raid system btw.

Is there anything I need to be aware of before I start?

i.e Do I need to mount the drive in Accounts/Users beforehand? I have read that somewhere.. If so how??

My head is spinning from all the pages of info I have read that I thought it was a good idea to ask the Mac peeps here for some good advice..

TIA
