Hi all,

Newbie here...I have a 5 month old (never used before that) Macbook Air from March 2009 that was working great. It has 2gb ram and I tried to get it to run Chrome and Photoshop simultaneously (I've done it a thousand times before) and it caused the Macbook Air to crater.

Now I cannot boot up nor safe boot (holding down the shift key while booting). Does anyone have ideas how I can fix this?

I have USB flash drives with tons of bootale options.

But I cannot figure out how to get this to see and boot from the USB thumb drive.

Help?

Hold down the alt key after the startup chime to get boot options :) Might that help?
