Macbook Fan Control

Hi guys, I need some information here..

Do we need to Install Fan control Application for MBP or we don't have to get anything like that ?

Because I heard some says that we have to set MBP Fan speed RPM to keep the Macbook cooler,
but some says we don't have to install any of fan control Apps..

What is the best way? set up the Fan speed or just letting the fan run automatically ?

I would just let it run automatically. If the MacBook gets too hot...it will shut down automatically...which is a VERY rare occurrence.
