Hey guys! So I went with the Macbook Pro over the Air. One of the benefits of this is I saved a little money and can now afford an external display. I think I have found a good monitor ( HP 2311XI) but I have yet to decide on what type of connection I will use. I know that I do not want to run VGA, so it is between HDMI and DVI. I really dont want to purchase to external display thunderbolt adapters so my question is, which do you recommend? Are there pros and cons for each? Will one work better than the other? Will my MBP recognize the monitor through either connection? Any personal experience and or advice would be great. Also if you have any tips on the monitor, I am open to suggestions. The HP is an LED and currently on sale at Best Buy for $179 (I have to keep it < $200). Thanks!
