why does my iBook crash when I play Warcraft 3?

I like to play Warcraft 3, but whenever I quit, it just hangs and the screen at the end, frozen, with the quit button clicked. there is nothing (NOTHING not even widgets) running while I play, as I only have stock config RAM, and it is really pissing me off having to do a hard restart when I play Warcraft. helP!?

Have you check MacUpdate or VersionTracker to see if there are any update patches available?

What other 3rd party software have you installed on the iBook?

Flash 8 Pro, Office 2004 with Windows Messenger 5, EDonkey2000 and Fetch.

Are you sure your ibook is up to playing warcraft? check the videocard...

it plays it fine, I said when I exit the game it crashes. I can play max settings with 40FPS.

Same thing happens to me, and I'm using the August 12 inch iBook. I found out that if you wait for like a minute or two and then close it, War3 closes properly.

If you want it to quit immediately, you can Force Quit. It didn't cause any problems for me when I use Force Quit.
