I just fixed the power/volume ribbon on the iPad2. The screen is really dark now. I took the glass and digitizer off with no problem then the LCD as usual. But when I replaced the ribbon and assembled it the screen is really dark. I can see that the power button works now so I know that is connected right. I have unplugged and plugged in the LCD numerous times but no change in the results. I also hard reset it with no avail. Please advise. Thanks

Have you tried going into Settings->Brightness & Wallpaper, turning off Auto-Brightness and adjusting it with the slider?

Check the brightness in settings. that is probably the issue... or the ambient light sensor.

Yes, go to setting » Brightness and unmark auto Brightness option and set brightness on full level.
